The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers a SPECIAL FINANCING PROGRAM for the acquisition of primary residences for veterans.

VA determines eligibility and issues a certificate to qualified applicants to present to the mortgage lender of their choice.

Advantages of a Conventional Loan

  • 100% for purchase or refinancing.
  • Minimum FICO Score: 640.
  • It does not restrict the value of the loan, but it does have a limit on the amount of money that backs the loan, up to $510,400.
